Nevada tops the $1 billion mark for the 24th consecutive month

(PRESS RELEASE) -- According the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the state's nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,237,272,530 for the month of February 2023, which marks the 24th consecutive month above the $1 billion plateau. This amounts to an 11.15% increase compared to February 2022, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,113,133,855. For the fiscal year (1 July 2022 through 28 February 2023), gaming win has increased 5.55%.

The State collected $75,547,272 in percentage fees during the month of March 2023*, based upon the taxable revenues generated in February 2023. This represents a 28.18% (or $16,610,319) increase compared to the prior year’s March, when percentage fee collections were $58,936,953.

  • Percentage fee collections are through 27 March 2023. These amounts do not reflect the $2,200,088 in transferable tax credits taken fiscal-year-to-date. The collection totals above include the most recent data available and are subject to revision.
