Nevada target date to reopen casinos is 4 June

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced on Friday that he will hold a press conference on Tuesday, 26 May to discuss the next phase in Nevada’s reopening plan and "pending the evaluation of trends" in data and results of a meeting with the Gaming Control Board, he has set a "target date" of 4 June to reopen the state's gaming industry.

Additionally, the Gaming Control Board will meet Tuesday & will consider any action necessary with regard to reopening. Pending the evaluation of trends in our data and results of this meeting, I have set a target date of June 4, 2020, for reopening Nevada’s gaming industry.

Saturday marks two weeks since Phase 1 began. Since that time, the LEAP and the Governor’s Office have been monitoring the first phase of reopening, analyzing data trends, and evaluating potential plans for Phase 2.
