Nevada Officials Reject Black Book Nomination30 September 2001ILLINOIS –– As reported by the Chicago Tribune: “Nevada gambling officials have halted efforts to ban a Barrington man from the state's casinos after information from the Chicago Crime Commission and other sources proved weaker than expected, officials said. ”In September 2000, the Nevada Gaming Control Board nominated Salvatore `Sam’ Cecola, 56, for the state's list of excluded persons, or `black book.’ ”But the board withdrew the nomination last month…” |
