Nevada Gold Responds to Lawsuit

HOUSTON, Texas -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (AMEX:UWN) announced it has reviewed the press release issued by Rinaldo Corporation, but has not received the amended complaint. Nevada Gold categorically denies that it has interfered with any agreements between Rinaldo Corporation and the Timbisha Shoshone Tribe.

The Company believes it is inappropriate to comment on active litigation. However, the Company wants to emphasize that it believes the legal actions initiated by Rinaldo Corporation are clearly without merit, are intended to interfere with Nevada Gold's Memorandum of Agreement with the Tribe related to the management of the Tribe's proposed casino, and Nevada Gold intends to defend itself and enforce its legal rights in court vigorously.
