Nevada Gaming Commission releases revenue and collections numbers28 June 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,289,036,827 for the month of May 2023, according to the Nevada Gaming Commission and Control Board. This amounts to a 0.84% decrease compared to May 2022, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,300,009,088. For the fiscal year (1 July 2022 through 31 May 2023), gaming win has increased 3.80%. The state collected $84,267,252 in percentage fees during the month of June 2023, based upon the taxable revenues generated in May 2023. This represents a 1.69% (or $1,448,242) decrease compared to the prior year’s June, when percentage fee collections were $85,715,494. These amounts do not reflect the $2,200,088 in transferable tax credits taken fiscal-year-to-date. The collection totals above include the most recent data available and are subject to revision. |
