Nepal plans ninth casino20 August 2007KATHMANDU, Nepal -- As reported by the Economic Times: "Nepal's casino king R. D. Tuttle is planning to open a new casino, the ninth one, in the Himalayan nation and also one at Goa in India. "Tuttle is planning to establish a casino at Hotel Malla, that has recently got recognition as the Five Star hotel, sources close to Nepal Recreation Centre, which manages the eight casinoes in Nepal, said. Five star hotels in the country are licensed to open casino. "The US expatriate, who has pioneered in the casino industry in Nepal by managing the Casino Nepal -- the first gaming house since 1968 -- now eyes Goa where he is planning to manage a floating casino in collaboration with a local company, they said..." |
