Nebraska Supreme Court to decide on horse racing ballot language27 August 2014LINCOLN, Nebraska -- The Nebraska Supreme Court will decide on whether the constitution can be amended to permit gambling on horse race replays, the Omaha World-Herald reported. The deadline for a decision from the court is September 12, 2014 ahead of a ballot that could be presented to voters on Nov 4, 2014, the report said. The ballot has been challenged on the basis of violating the state Constitution on the basis of its language, according the Omaha World-Herald report. |
