Navajo Nation extends casino closure to 17 May22 April 2020Navajo Nation announced on 21 April that it will extend the closure of Fire Rock Casino, Flowing Water Navajo Casino, Northern Edge Casino, and Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort until 17 May amid ongoing COVID-19 concerns. Per the Executive Order, all "Nation Nation Divisions, Departments, Programs, Offices, non-governance certified chapter, Enterprises, and Navajo Casinos shall follow direction of the Public Health Emergency Orders . . . All Navajo Nation Citizens shall stay home and leave only for essential activities; and comply with the Daily Curfew starting at 8:00PM to 5:00AM Daily and comply with weekend or other curfew hours." |
