Navajo Gaming Casinos to close through 6 April17 March 2020Navajo Gaming Casinos announced today that they will close Fire Rock Casino, Flowing Water Navajo Casino, Northern Edge Casino, and Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort through 6 April, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. A statement from the Navajo Gaming website: "In support of the Navajo Nation’s commitment to protecting the health, safety and general welfare of the Diné People, the Team Members of all Navajo enterprises and the guests who visit Diné Bikéyah (“Navajoland”), the Navajo Gaming Board of Directors has approved the temporary shutdown of our casino facilities for a three-week period, beginning at noon on Tuesday, 17 March 2020. We are scheduled to reopen our doors on Monday, 6 April 2020." |
