Myriad gets second extension for Tunica land

MISSISSIPPI -- As reported by the Memphis Business Journal: "Myriad Entertainment & Resorts Inc., the parent company of the proposed Myriad Botanical Resort and Casino, has been granted a 45-day extension on the closing date for the company's purchase of more than 500 acres of land in Tunica.

"Myriad was supposed to close on the land Tuesday, but the closing date was extended to Nov. 15.

"This marks the second extension. The group was originally to close on the land in August of this year and was given an extension until Oct. 2..."
