Multimedia Games names new general counsel

AUSTIN, Texas -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Multimedia Games Inc. (NASDAQ: MGAM) today announced the appointment of Uri L. Clinton, 35, as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Clinton will serve as chief legal counsel for all business operations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and licensing in a newly created Legal Affairs Department for the Austin, Texas based developer and distributor of technology and products for the gaming industry.

Mr. Clinton brings to Multimedia Games more than 10 years business and legal experience. For the last six years, Mr. Clinton has been employed by Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.'s Law Department, most recently serving as Vice President of Legal Affairs for its Central Division. In that and earlier positions, he served as business operations and regulatory compliance legal counsel for more than 13 casino/hotels located in seven Native American and commercial gaming jurisdictions. Additionally, he served as lead counsel for several of Harrah's enterprise-wide departments and initiatives, including its National Casino Marketing Air Charter program, Risk Management Department, Corporate Diversity, and the 2004 integration of several Horseshoe branded casinos into the Harrah's corporate structure.

"He will be a tremendous asset for our company as we focus on providing our products and services in potential new jurisdictions and as we continue to maintain the highest standard of regulatory compliance in places where we are currently licensed."

Mr. Clinton earned his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law and his Masters in Business Administration from the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.

Upon joining the company, Mr. Clinton will receive an option to purchase 250,000 shares of the Company's common stock. The option is subject to vesting and represents a significant portion of Mr. Clinton's total compensation.
