Muckleshoot Tribe Ready to Expand

WASHINGTON – As reported by the King County Journal: "The Muckleshoot Tribe has two construction projects under way at its casino property near Auburn geared to expanding already large tribal gaming revenues.

"A new Muckleshoot Bingo Hall is under construction on the Muckleshoot Reservation across the street from the Muckleshoot Casino at the site of the old mini-mall, which was torn down. It will replace the current bingo hall on the casino property.

"The new two-story bingo hall will be 65,000 square feet and will accommodate as many as 1,100 players, according to a tribal spokesman.

"…The other project is a new casino being built immediately adjacent to the front of the existing casino. It will be 42,000 square feet in size and will feature video slot machines, gaming tables, a deli, bar and other casino accouterments…"
