MTR Gaming Picks Racino Site26 August 2004ERIE, Pennsylvania – As reported by the Associated Press: "The chief of a gambling company that wants to build a new racetrack and casino in Erie County now says he favors a site in Summit Township. "Ted Arneault (ar-NOH') is the chief executive of M-T-R Gaming Group of West Virginia. "…Arneault already has a license to build the track in Summit Township, but he had considered trying to get that transferred to the International Paper site. But now Arneault says he fears that other companies that competed for the license might sue to stop that move -- so he'll stay put and build Presque (PRESK) Isle Downs at the already-approved site…" |
