MSPT Canterbury Park kicks off Thursday12 February 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- The first event at Minnesota’s Canterbury Park - Racetrack & Card Casino in Season 10 will kick off this Thursday with a $250 buy-in Tag Team Championship at 6 p.m. Then on Friday, the $1,100 buy-in, $300K GTD Main Event will hold its Day 1A flight at 3 p.m. Day 1B will take place at the same time on Saturday, and the surviving players from both flights will return at 11 a.m. on Sunday to play down to a winner. We’re expecting this first Canterbury event of the season to be a huge affair, so we’ve worked out some special rates with nearby hotels as low as $39/night. The MSPT last visited Canterbury Park back in December, which is when Andy Rubinberg topped a field of 977 entries to win a $179,776 first-place prize. The MSPT Canterbury Park Main Event will be live reported online. |
