Mount Airy payouts continue decline9 April 2008PENNSYLVANIA -- As reported by the Pocono Record: "Winning payouts at Mount Airy Casino Resort fell for the third week in a row, while wagers dropped more than 11 percent, following a strong week to end the month of March. "Wagers at the casino totaled to $46.5 million, while gross terminal revenues came in at $3.3 million. The casino's payout rate to winning bettors fell to 92.3 percent, off a high of 92.9 percent for the week ending Mar. 16. "Last week's payouts were a far cry from the average payout in February of 93.1 percent, the highest average monthly payout by the casino..." |
