Morongo Casino venue revamped again

CALIFORNIA – As reported by the Beaumont Record-Gazette: "The 1,200-seat venue at the Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa is about to experience its third iteration in as many years.

"Originally, the somewhat circular nightclub was a dance palace run by the N9NE Group, which also operated two upscale restaurants at Morongo.

"The casino's older crowd soon drove away the youth-obsessed N9NE crew, but the Key Club, a successful Sunset Strip club, decided to rent the nightclub (one of the former N9NE restaurants is operated by the Levy Organization, a Chicago-based restaurant management group, and the other remains dark).

"…[Stacey Conde, club publicist]…said the nightclub would not close, but would become 'Vibe' instead of the Key Club at Morongo and would be operated by the casino's owner, the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. Operations will change on April 1, after the Key Club's yearlong lease has expired…"
