More Charges Brought against Father, Stepson in Casino Theft2 November 2000NORWICH, Conneticut – Nov. 2, 2000 – As reported by the Associated Press: “A former employee at the Mohegan Sun casino and his stepson were charged Thursday in the theft of $600,000 from the casino. ”Harlan Gahner, 54, was charged with larceny and money laundering after turning himself in to state police. ”…Timothy Gahner, 22, was charged with money laundering. He is currently in prison on a rape charge. ”…Harlan Gahner was caught stuffing nearly $100,000 in hundred dollar bills into his uniform while working in a money-counting room at the casino, police said. ”The stepson was arrested after the woman involved in the rape case reported seeing more than $400,000 in a safe at his his house…” |
