More Calls for South Australian Pokies Cap

AUSTRALIA -- As reported by ABC News: ``The Provincial Cities Association has renewed its calls for a cap on poker machine numbers in South Australia.

``The association has lodged a second submission to the Independent Gambling Authority's inquiry into gaming machine numbers.

``…`What we've suggested to the Independent Gambling Authority is that they should adopt a level of gaming machines per 1,000 people across the state and then take steps to ensure that that is the maximum that are in any particular area,' Ian McSporran, the association's secretary said…"
