More action added to WPT Bucharest

BUCHAREST, Romania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- World Poker Tour® and Regent Casino Bucharest are gearing up for the first WPT event in Romania: WPT Bucharest, sponsored by www.Gamebookers.com. The series, which includes the €3000 + 300 WPT Main Event, is set to run from March 27 – April 2, 2010 at the Novotel Bucarest City Center Hotel, with a Player Welcome Party kicking off the action March 26 at 8pm at Space Club near the Novotel Hotel. Super-satellites and new side events begin March 20.

The main event, which is capped at 400 seats, is expected to draw many professional players from around the globe, including WPT Season VII Player of the Year, Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier, who is confirmed to play.

"We want WPT Bucharest to become a major event on the international poker scene, and a 'must do' for any poker player. The combination of the excellent location, special facilities and great tournament action will keep players coming back," said Sorin Constantinescu, Regent Casino CEO.

Regent Casino has made all the arrangements to ensure that WPT Bucharest will be a poker tournament of world class standards.
