Montreal Casino Still Possible

MONTREAL, Quebec – As reported by the CBC News: "The president of Quebec's Treasury Board says a new billion-dollar casino in Montreal's Peel Basin is still a possibility.

"The project has come under much criticism from social groups, and now the city's public health agency appears poised to recommend against it.

"Loto-Québec wants to move the Montreal casino from Ile-Jean-Drapeau to Point St. Charles.

"…Loto-Québec and the Cirque du Soleil want to build a $1.17-billion entertainment complex and casino for the Peel Basin…"
