Monte Carlo awarded first AAA award

16 January 2007

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- AAA has awarded Monte Carlo its first Four Diamond Award in the hotel's 10-year history. Monte Carlo is one of only two first-time hotel winners in Las Vegas for 2007.

"This is a proud moment for the more than 2,800 employees of Monte Carlo," said Monte Carlo President & COO Randy Morton. "Their hard work and dedication are the primary reasons for our success. We are honored to receive this AAA Four Diamond Award as a reinforcement of our commitment to excellence and outstanding service for our guests."

AAA evaluated nearly 57,000 hotels across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean throughout a 12-month period. Lodging winners must display a high level of service while providing luxurious surroundings. Only 12 hotels in Las Vegas received this prestigious accolade.

"To earn a Four Diamond Award, a hotel has to be refined and stylish, with great attention to detail," said AAA spokesperson Michael Geeser. "Having reached these goals, Monte Carlo has become a first-time winner of the prestigious Four Diamond Award. This is a real testament to the effort made by the Monte Carlo management and staff."

Monte Carlo, located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, combines a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere with non-stop action and excitement. Its sparkling pools, charming accommodations and friendly staff combined with a casual brew pub, the breathtaking illusions of Master Magician Lance Burton and the AAA Four Diamond Andre's French restaurant make Monte Carlo a destination to remember.
