Montana Casino Faces Hurdles

GREAT FALLS, Montana – As reported by the Great Falls Tribune: "Little Vegas is coming to Central Avenue West, minus the glitz, glitter and flashing lights.

"Jason Kiser plans to put a casino in vacant space in a building that houses Papa John's Pizza, a take-out and delivery restaurant at 526 Central Ave. W.

"…When the video gaming parlor goes in, the only change outside the neutral-colored, stucco-like sided structure will be the sign at the entrance.

"…Kiser met with the board to discuss preliminary landscaping. City code requires property with casinos to be 20 percent landscaped — 5 percent more than for other commercial development.

"The problem is if the landscaping code is met, Little Vegas won't have room to meet parking requirements, Kiser said…"
