Mohegan Sun launches summer promo

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut-- (PRESS RELEASE) -- We've all heard that July 7, 2007 might in fact be the luckiest day of the year, if not century, but at Mohegan Sun, we bet that any day this summer will be lucky with Mohegan Sun's Lucky Summer of Sevens Giveaway.

Running June 28th through September 3rd, more than 17,000 guests will win their share of $777,777 just by swiping their Player's Club card at any promotional kiosk in Casino of the Earth or Casino of the Sky. Each time a guest swipes their card they receive a game piece. Match three game pieces and win. Any three card combination will win cash or Player's Club points ranging from $50.00 to $25,000. The more a guest swipes, the more chances they have to win.

Player's Club members are encouraged to bring their friends and family to Mohegan Sun for their chance to win by signing up for a free membership at any Player's Club booth located throughout the property. Must be 21 or older to participate.

Mohegan Sun is currently in the midst of Project Horizon - a $740 million expansion that calls for a new 1,000-room hotel, featuring 300 House of Blues-themed rooms and an exclusive members-only House of Blues Foundation Room. The expansion also includes 115,000 square feet of additional retail and restaurant space, and a new 64,000-square-foot "Casino of the Wind." In addition, Project Horizon expands Mohegan Sun's Asian gaming experience in the Casino of the Earth with the opening of Sunrise Square in the summer of 2007. Upon full completion in 2010, Project Horizon is expected to add more than 1.4 million square feet to Mohegan Sun's existing structure.
