Mohegan Sun hosts Kid Rock30 November 2007UNCASVILLE, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun prepares for the arrival of self- proclaimed "devil without a cause", Kid Rock on his latest tour. The Kid is sure to put on a rockin' concert that will have the energy and pounding beats that his live shows are famous for. The show takes place on Friday, January 4th, 2008 at 8:00pm at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets are $39.00 and are available starting Saturday, November 17th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available starting Sunday, November 18th at the Mohegan Sun Box Office subject to availability. Kid Rock has wowed fans with his vivacious personality and in-your-face attitude, easily fulfilling the role of the classic American rocker. His first attempts at music production began in Detroit, hitting it big with the album Devil Without a Cause in 1998. This album resounded with fans for the Rock rhythm and Rap like lyrics. He quickly followed this extremely successful album up with several more, most recently, Rock N Roll Jesus released in October 2007. This album is much more personal than past albums and covers several genres of music from Rock to Punk and Country, and has already peaked at #1 on the Billboard spawning the hit song "So Hott."
