Mohegan Sun has award-winning year in 201511 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun Arena repeated its record pace of A-List national tours and national awards in 2015. The top-ranked venue pulled in a national award for "Arena of the Year," the ninth national award for the Arena in just seven years. 2015 also marked the 10 millionth guest to walk through Mohegan Sun Arena's doors, a number that will surely continue to grow in 2016. Mohegan Sun Arena hits the ground running in the New Year with Aretha Franklin already treating a sold out crowd to an amazing show on New Year’s Day, following her amazing performance at the Kennedy Center.
