Mohegan Sun guest hits $1 million win

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Last weekend, Ansonia, Connecticut, resident Denise Poirier won $1,351,715 on a Wheel of Fortune progressive slot machine in Casino of the Sky in Mohegan Sun.

Denise becomes the second Mohegan Sun guest to hit for over $1 million on a jackpot since March of this year, when a New Hampshire resident won $1,001,459. Other large jackpots awarded recently from Mohegan Sun include $526,915.96 from a Westfield, Massachusetts, resident; $325,528 by a Bantam, Connecticut, resident; and $233,590 by a Brooklyn, New York, resident.
