Mohegan Sun Arena hosts Freestyle Extravaganza III

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun Arena will once again host the top talents of Freestyle Dance music when Freestyle Extravaganza III takes over the house on Saturday, February 16th at 8:00pm.

Tickets are $68.00 and $48.00 and are now available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to tickemaster.com, call any Ticketmaster Charge By Phone number, or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.

The 2007 Mohegan Sun Arena show brought together some of the best-remembered and most loved Latin Dance music of the 80s, and the 2008 edition continues the revival. Born in the club scene of New York City during the end of the Disco era, Freestyle went on to capture a generation with its irresistible beats, and marked the start of the Hip-Hop sound.

Performers include Stevie B with hits songs like "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)" and "Spring Love (Come Back to Me)," Sa-fire with "Boy I've Been Told," "Thinking of You" and "Made Up My Mind." Super group The Cover Girls is in the line-up with hit songs such as "Because Of You," "Show Me" and "Promise Me." Rob Base will perform "It Takes Two" and TKA will get the Arena rocking with "Come Get My Love" and "One Way Love." George Lamond brings his "Bad of the Heart" and Johnny O performs "Fantasy Girl." Biz Markie performs the hit song "Just a Friend" and Timmy T brings his hit song "One More Try" to the Arena stage. Additional performers include Noel with "Silent Morning," and Shannon with "Let the Music Play."
