Mob Daughter Sentenced for Destroying Betting Records19 November 2003CHICAGO, Illinois – As reported by the Associated Press: "A daughter of the late Chicago mob boss William `Willie Potatoes' Daddano was sentenced Tuesday to a year in federal prison for destroying bookmaking records. "Mary Daddono, 50, of Oak Brook, whose name is spelled differently from her father's, was also fined $3,000 by U.S. District Judge James F. Holderman. "…Agents testified that they had pounded on the door of her apartment on Jan. 27, 2002, the day of a National Football League playoff game between the St. Louis Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles.
