Mistrial declared in Alabama electronic bingo corruption trial

12 August 2011

ALABAMA -- After 6 days of deliberations the jury in the federal electronic bingo corruption trial failed to reach "unanimous decisions" and a mistrial has been declared, the Montgomer Advertiser reported.

Sen Quinton T. Ross Jr. and Robert B Geddie Jr. were both found not guilty of the 16 charges against them, the report said.

The other seven, including VictoryLand owner Milton McGregor, cases have been declared a mistrial, the Montgomery Advertiser said.
