Missouri Residents Sue to Keep Casinos Away

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – As reported by the Kansas City Channel9: "Some residents of the small Lake Taneycomo town of Rockaway Beach don't want a casino. So they are suing the state, trying to keep the issue off the August ballot.

"The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in Jefferson City. It names Secretary of State Matt Blunt as a defendant -- and asks a Cole County judge to declare the proposal unconstitutional…"
