LOUISIANA– As reported by the Advocate: "The two casino riverboats that sit on the Mississippi River in downtown Baton Rouge have reaped huge benefits since hurricane evacuees poured into the area.

"With more people frequenting Casino Rouge and the Argosy, that means an extra tax source for East Baton Rouge Parish and the city.

"For every person who visits the casinos, the city-parish receives $2.50 as part of a head tax…"
