Mississippi Coast Casinos April Win Up

MISSISSIPPI – As reported by the Mississippi Sun Herald: "Coast casinos extended their winning streak into April, winning almost $102.4 million during the month.

"That was an 8.9 percent increase over April 2003. April is traditionally one of the slowest months for casinos, falling between the peaks of the snowbird and summer tourism seasons.

"Statewide casino revenues were $223.3 million in April, compared to $223.8 million the year before."
