Mississippi coast casino ready for holidays30 November 2007BILOXI, Mississippi -- As reported by the Biloxi Sun Herald: "It's beginning to look and sound and smell a lot like Christmas at the Coast casinos. "The decorations are up, the special menus are planned and the stars will be on the Coast to help celebrate the holidays. The bakery cases at Palace Casino and Boomtown are filled with holiday treats, and trunk shows are bringing company representatives to showcase their products. At Hard Rock Casino, the chefs will wheel out their gingerbread house Dec. 10 for visitors to admire throughout the holidays. "The week between Christmas and New Year's is one ofthe busiest times of the year for the casinos, said Silver Slipper Casino General Manager John Ferrucci. The weeks leading up to Christmas are also packed with shopping and special events. "...The Beau kicks off the shopping season with a Holiday Open House on Saturday and Sunday, and the festivities continue every weekend in December. Amid the winter wonderland decorations and carols, visitors can sample products, see the latest fashions modeled and have books signed by the authors. |
