Mississippi Casinos Report Second Best Month

MISSISSIPPI – As reported by the Mississippi Sun Herald: "Coast casinos had their second best month in history in February, thanks to a combination of an improving economy, snowbirds, Mardi Gras and George Strait.

"The 12 resorts won $114.4 million last month, an 18.4 percent increase over February 2003. The only month that was better was July 2002, when the casinos won $118.7 million…"
