Mississippi: Casino worker accused of stealing cash28 March 2011BILOXI, Mississippi -- A comps scam that covered up embezzlement by a casino employee has been exposed, the Mississippi Press reported. Amanda Ables, 22, was charged with embezzlement on Saturday, the report said. Amanda Ables allegedly diverted money paid by customers for food into her own pocket and then doctored their club card accounts, so it appeared they had used points to pay, the Mississippi Press said. Police did not release the name of the casino where the offences took place. |
