Mississippi Casino Expect Busy Long Weekend

BILOXI, Mississippi – As reported by the Biloxi Sun Herald: "Coast casinos, souvenir shops and beach vendors have high hopes for the Fourth of July holiday, traditionally one of their busiest weekends of the year.

"The Coast's 10 casino hotels should be fully booked for the weekend. In the past, July has been the best month for Coast casino revenue, although there are busier weeks, such as the days between Christmas and New Year's Day.

"'This should be a dynamite weekend,' said Rick Quinn, chief executive of Copa Casino in Gulfport. 'We've done a lot of additional marketing.'
