Minnesota Women Embezzles Money from Travel Agency

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – As reported by the Associated Press: "A former financial controller for a Richfield travel agency has been charged with stealing more than $660,000 from Carrousel Travel, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

"According to the criminal complaint, Debra Joan Salo, 51, of Edina, who also used the last name Hanson, admitted to authorities that she took money from the travel agency and spent much of it at area casinos. Salo told police she has a serious gambling problem…"
