MiniFTOPS XXIII continues this weekend13 September 2013ONCHAN, Isle of Man -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- There's at least $450,000 in combined MiniFTOPS XXIII guarantees to play for this weekend at Full Tilt Poker. MiniFTOPS XXIII buy-ins start at $10 + $1 or players can satellite through from $0.50 or 35 Full Tilt Points. The biggest prize pools of the weekend will be won on Sunday, with $100,000 on the line in event No. 19, a $12 + $1 no-limit Hold'em knockout tournament which kicks off at 10 a.m. EST. Later at 1 p.m., there's a further $250,000 up for grabs in event NO. 20, a $30 + $3 no-limit Hold'em re-entry tournament. Approximately $1 million in prize money has been awarded since the series began Sept. 8. On the opening day alone, over $350,000 was won in events No. 1 and 2, with both games drawing in huge player fields to smash their guarantees. In event No. 1, "ChrisStar887" turned a $22 buyin into over $40,000 in prize money, while "FrAnKeeZ1" outlasted 3,237 other players in event No. 2 to earn over $17,000. MiniFTOPS XXIII runs through Sunday, Sept. 22 and there is more than $2 million in guaranteed prize pools still to be won. The schedule is packed with a variety of tournament types and structures, and includes multiple game variants, including 6-Card Omaha (event No. 28).
