Middleboro casino vote could top $120,000

IDDLEBORO, MA -- As reported by Cape Cod Times: "It will cost more than $120,000 to find out if Middleboro residents want a casino in town, according to the Town Meeting Committee.

"At Monday night's selectmen meeting, Roger Brunelle, the town's information technology director and member of the committee, said the July 28 Town Meeting — which is expected to draw more than half of the town's 14,000 registered voters — may cost up to $123,000 to hold.

"Brunelle said his estimates are a 'worst-case scenario'..."
