Middleboro board puts casino question to vote

MIDDLEBORO, Massachusetts – As reported by the Enterprise: "Selectmen voted unanimously to place a nonbinding referendum on the ballot asking voters, "Do you support a casino in Middleboro?"

"Selectmen also voted to invite the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council to meet with them on May 24 so they learn more about their intentions for land recently purchased in Middleboro.

"…'The question is, When do we do it?' Selectman Patrick Rogers said.

"…Rogers said the ballot question vote should take place sometime after Labor Day…"
