Michigan Tribe Holds Casino Job Fair

MICHIGAN – As reported by the WOOD TV: "The tribe behind a possible casino in Allegan County is moving forward with its plans.

"The Gun Lake Band of Potawatomi Indians is holding a two-day job fair.

"The Career Interest Fair began Wednesday morning and will run until 6 p.m., and continue from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Ampro building at 129th Avenue and US-131 in Bradley. That's the site where the casino could be built.

"Management officials are planning to break ground this summer if everything goes as planned. The casino will then open in 12 to 14 months. And when it does it will provide 1,800 jobs…"
