Michigan casino study released

21 August 2007

MICHIGAN -- As reported by the Morning Sun: "A new study led by a Central Michigan University professor shows that outstate Michigan casinos have an impact beyond the counties where the casinos are located.

"...He said the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe's Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort had produced more of a positive economic impact on Isabella County than many other casinos had had on their host counties..."
