Michigan casino fired up for debut

BATTLE CREEK, Michigan -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- FireKeepers Casino is firing up their grand opening celebration with something for everyone including nightly entertainment, dining offerings and great promotions including a chance to win a share of more than $400,000 in cash and prizes. For 11 days, FireKeepers guests will be entertained beyond their wildest expectations with promotions and events that showcase the $300 million facility. It all kicks-off September 24 and ends October 4 with one lucky winner driving away in a new Cadillac Escalade Hybrid.

During the grand opening celebration, members of the Red Hot Rewards Club, FireKeepers' player loyalty program, will have the chance to win free slot play, cash and prizes. Members can easily earn points towards complimentary dining, credits for free slot play, VIP benefits, gift shop purchases, sweepstakes and promotions, and special giveaway prizes and direct mail offers. A detailed schedule of the grand opening promotions is as follows:

Thursday, September 24 – Double Point Day - Red Hot Rewards Club members will earn Double Points for their play starting at 12 a.m. Thursday through 11:59 p.m. Thursday, September 24. Points can be used for dining, merchandise or free slot play.

Friday, September 25 – Play to Win - Red Hot Rewards Club members are eligible to earn points toward FireKeepers Play to Win promotion from 12 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. September 25. Prizes include a GPS, RCA digital camcorder, MP4 player and FireKeepers apparel.

Saturday, September 26 – Red Hot Credits Giveaway – Red Hot Rewards Club members have the chance to win $30,000 in Red Hot Credits, FireKeepers' version of free slot play. Every even hour between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., five Red Hot Rewards Club members, with active card play, will be selected through random draw. Each randomly selected winner will receive $1,000 in Red Hot Credits.

Sunday, September 27 – Hot Seat Home Theater Giveaway – Every even hour between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m., four Red Hot Rewards Club members, with active card play, will be randomly selected to win. Each player will win a home theater including a 42" flat screen TV and Blue Ray.

Monday, September 28 – Mini Monster Bingo– Chances to win up to $10,000 in cash with a variety of buy-in levels ranging from $1 to $110. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, September 29 – $50k Free Slot Tournament – $50,000 in Red Hot Credits will be awarded to players looking for slot fun. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Red Hot Reward Club members will be allowed one free session to spin and earn as many credits as possible in two minutes in length. The top 30 scorers throughout the day will be invited back for the tournament finale at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, September 30 – Sizzling Vegas Getaway – Ten lucky Red Hot Rewards Club members will win a five-night getaway to Las Vegas including airfare for two, accommodations of winners' choice and limousine ride to-and-from the airport. Every even hour between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m., two randomly selected players will each win a sizzling trip to Vegas.

Thursday, October 1 – $25,000 Free Roll Poker Tournament – the first 108 Red Hot Rewards Club members to log 108 hours of cash play prior to September 29 will receive a seat and $10,000 in tournament chips. Freeroll begins October 1 at 11 a.m. The total prize pool is $25,000.

Friday, October 2 – Saturday October 3 – Let the Cirque begin! Celebrate with FireKeepers each evening from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with "Las Vegas Cirque" style entertainment. Delighting and entertaining players throughout the casino are aerialists, hulla-hoop performers, stilt walkers, power skippers, as well as airbrushed, winged and cube performers.

Sunday, October 4 – $100,000 Escalade Giveaway – One lucky Red Hot Rewards Club member will win a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid courtesy of FireKeepers. Every even hour from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. five winners, with active card play, will be randomly selected to win $1,000 each in Red Hot Credits. One lucky winner will be selected at 10 p.m. and be declared the grand prize winner of the Cadillac Escalade Hybrid from Frank Beck Chevrolet-Cadillac.
