MGM Resorts wants new bidding process11 July 2012BOSTON, Massachusetts -- MGM Resorts Int is after a new bidding process in its quest for a Western Massachusetts casino, The Republican reported. MGM is unhappy with the proposed two-stage bidding process and thinks it's potentially a waste of time and resources, the report said. In a meeting that took place yesterday several Massachusetts Gaming Commission commissioners expressed the view that they did not think a two-part bidding process would protract the time required to issue the gaming licenses, The Republican reported.
