MGM-branded casino planned for Vietnam resort area

LOS ANGELES, California -- Vietnam's first Las Vegas-style casino resort has been announced with an opening in 2013, Reuters reported.

The casino will be based in Ho Tram Strip and will be called the MGM Grand Ho Tram, Reuters said.

Asian Coast development backed by Vancouver-based Harbinger Capital Partners named former MGM Mirage president Lloyd Nathan as CEO of this project, Reuters noted.
