MGC to hold public meeting on Oct. 1515 October 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 166th open public meeting on Thursday, October 15. The Commission will begin the meeting with a general update and a discussion about the Plainridge Park Casino after-action review. The Commission will receive an update from the Research and Responsible Gaming Director Mark Vander Linden regarding the Play Management program. In addition, the Commission will discuss the evaluation process and schedule for the Region C Phase 2 application. The Commission will discuss several racing matters including an anticipated vote on a request from Suffolk Downs regarding 12 weeks of premium free harness racing simulcasting. Lastly, the Commission will discuss the process for MGM Section 61 findings and Wynn site design.
