Mesquite Casinos Reports Increase

MESQUITE, Nevada – As reported by the Desert Valley Times: "Casinos in Mesquite were busier in September than they were for the same month in 2003.

"Statistics from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority showed that Mesquite had 141,689 visitors in September, up 11 percent from 127,609 visitors in of September 2003.

"…Gross gaming revenue also increased at a steady rate of 13.2 percent. Revenue increased from $8,808,000 in September 2003 to $9,974,035. For the year, gross gaming revenue has jumped from $84,201,000 to $90,397,035, an increase of 7.8 percent…"
