Men Sentenced in Casino Robberies3 November 2003HELENA, Montana -- As reported by the Independent Record: ``Two men received prison sentences last week for unconnected robberies at Helena casinos last year. ``George Allan Cooper, 27, received 10 years in Montana State Prison for robbing the 4Js Casino at gunpoint last November while Christopher Thomas Hill, 28, received a 25-year sentence to Montana State Prison for his involvement in the November 2002 robbery of Village Inn Pizza. ``Cooper was charged with robbing the 4Js Casino in January after he was picked up for eight similar robberies in the Billings area. ``When questioned by law enforcement about his criminal activities in that city, Cooper admitted to the Helena robbery in which he fled with about $4,500 in cash…" |
