Men Charged in Casino Promotion Scam

WISCONSIN – As reported by the Barbaroo News Republic: "Two men face up to three years prison after investigators say they tried to win $10,000 with fake tickets in a Ho-Chunk Casino promotion.

"The Sauk County prosecutor filed charges of felony attempted theft by fraud against Darwin P. Moore, 57, of Menasha and Bruce Knutson, 55, of Neenah last week.

"According to court records, they each stuffed about 4,700 entries into a Tax Time Blues contest box at the casino last year. Knutson won a $10,000 prize. But a state investigator found most of the entry tickets were fake…"
