Mega Millions ticket wins $105 million

UNITED STATES –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mega Millions players are checking their tickets after Friday's drawing, because somewhere there is a ticket worth an estimated $105 million. That ticket, which was purchased in Queens, New York, matched the winning numbers 24-32-34-36-39 and the Mega Ball number 6 in the April 6, 2007 drawing.

But that ticket was not the only winner. A total of 805,719 tickets won prizes in Friday's drawing, including five tickets that each won Mega Millions' second highest prize of $250,000.

The jackpot for the Tuesday, April 10 drawing is $12 million.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
